LOCOMOTIVE BOGIE ROTATOR
Vector Lifting is developing a new Locomotive Bogie Rotator for a valued client.
The Bogie Rotator combines a lifting jack with a powered rotator and is positioned either side of the lift road, allowing bogies to be lifted on the lateral axis and rotated. This orientation allows for efficient engagement of a variety bogies and never obstructs the lift road for other rolling stock through traffic.
The Bogie Rotator has a 20 tonne lift / rotate capacity, lift height of 3.4m and can rotate continuously in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
The Locomotive Bogie Rotator is due for delivery mid 2023.
